Lighthouse Zombies – Environment Art & Level Design Lead

I’m proud to finally showcase my work as the Environment Art and Level Design Lead on Lighthouse Zombies, a round based zombie survival experience built in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). Set shortly after the German invasion of Norway during World War II, the map drops players into a remote Norwegian island town now overrun by the undead. Twisted remnants of war litter the streets, the sea pounds the shorelines, and at the heart of it all stands a looming lighthouse. I used a combination of asset packs and a wide range of hand-made assets, created by myself and the amazing team of artists at Pandvil Network who helped bring the vision to life. Massive thanks to Jenny Cornelia, Paola Chaparro, and Sheila Alessandrini for their work on the 3D Assets and texture creation, and Huge props to Leonardo Feistl for his work on the Technical Art. This was a project with many moving elements, and I’m beyond grateful to have worked alongside such talented creators. Due to UEFNs limitations, the entire project is under 400MBs in file size, which means we had to get really creative in a couple of areas, but we made it work! Lighthouse Zombies was one of my favorite projects to work on and a huge step in pushing what's possible in UEFN. Thanks for checking it out!
